Based in Dresden, Germany, TECHiFAB is engaged in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of TiF-MEMRiSTORs and IT products with resource-efficient data processing. We also provide special support services related to the TiF-MEMRiSTOR technology and to product demonstrator lines with TiF-MEMRiSTORs.
Bridging pioneering deep tech and novel applications
TECHiFAB was founded in 2021 in Dresden, Germany – Europe’s microelectronics hotspot and the heart of Silicon Saxony by Heidemarie Schmidt and Stephan Krüger.
The team consists of experts in electrical engineering, materials science, and computer science. Aside from providing our unique TiF-MEMRiSTORs [Schmidt 2024] and ICT products with TiF-MEMRiSTORs to customers worldwide, we continue to develop innovative memristor-based applications with resource-efficient AI algorithms.
We benefit from our close connections to fellow deep-tech pioneers, both in research and industry, within the Silicon Saxony network. Our partnerships have played a pivotal role in bringing our pioneering discovery, the TiF-MEMRiSTOR, to market maturity.
Uniquely able to both process and store analog data, the TiF-MEMRiSTOR represents a significant scientific and technological breakthrough. This clearly sets us apart from our competitors, because conventional memristors operate in a filamentary manner, meaning they can only store digital data. Our innovation saves time, computing resources, and energy, while making new ideas feasible. It also finds its rightful place within our in-house data processing hardware.
